Although it was a night in which Amir Rrahmani netted his very first Champions League goal, the Kosovan looked back on the defeat at Barcelona with a feeling of regret as Napoli’s European journey came to an end.
“We certainly bow out with our heads held high, but we could’ve done better and got the equaliser.”
“They punished us in the first 20 minutes. We got our high press wrong and they brought the ball out well at their feet.
“We then reacted and improved. After cutting the arrears, we should’ve found the spark to get an equaliser because you eventually have to express yourself.
“It’s a shame overall. We played well for long periods, but we didn’t manage to get through, which we’re disappointed about given how we played.”
