Two goals either side of the break saw Napoli clinch a precious win at Salernitana to reach a half century of points at the midway stage of the season.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo broke the hosts' resistance when he lashed home in first-half stoppage time after some fine work on the flank by Frank Anguissa.
Three minutes into the second period Elif Elmas shimmied past two opponents on the edge of the box and pulled the trigger. His shot rattled the upright but Victor Osimhen was on hand to fire in the rebound and double our advantage.
The results means Napoli have won three in a row scoring nine goals in the process. They also boast the league's best attack with 46 goals from their first 19 games.
