Daniele Doveri will officiate the trip to Juventus, with Scatragli and Moro as his assistants, and Giua as the fourth official. Marini will be in charge of VAR, assisted by La Penna.
This will be Doveri’s 229th Serie A match as a referee and his second of the season.
For the third time in his career, Doveri will oversee a Serie A clash between Juventus and Napoli, following two previous home wins for the Azzurri: the first was a 1-0 triumph on 13 February 2021 and the second a 5-1 thrashing on 13 January 2023 in the Scudetto-winning campaign.
Juventus have 21 previous encounters with Doveri officiating in Serie A (12 wins, five draws, four losses), with the Bianconeri winning three of the last four matches. Interestingly, the only loss in this period came against none other than Napoli in January 2023.
Napoli are the team that Doveri has refereed most frequently in his Serie A career. The 32 games have produced 18 wins for the Azzurri, nine draws and five losses. Napoli have also won three of their last four games with Doveri in charge – their only defeat in that time was a 1-0 reversal against AC Milan on 11 February at San Siro.
