Napoli fell to a home defeat to Fiorentina this Sunday evening, with the visitors heading home with a 3-1 victory in the bag.

Fiorentina took an early lead through Josip Brekalo but Victor Osimhen levelled the scores before half time for the hosts. However the joy was to be short lived as Giacomo Bonaventura put the Viola back in the lead just after the hour mark.

Napoli then went on to have several chances to equalise but couldn’t finish their chances. Substitute Nico Gonzalez then killed off the game in injury time. It just wasn’t Napoli’s day. Next up after the international break is Hellas Verona and Union Berlin in the Champions League, followed by a huge clash against Milan.
