Matteo Marchetti has been appointed to oversee Sunday's league meeting between Napoli and Venezia.

It will be his 39th career match in Serie A and his seventh of the current campaign.

Marchetti will be assisted by Raspollini and Palermo, with Cosso as fourth official and Nasca and Paterna on VAR duty.

Only Inter (six) and Fiorentina (four) have won more Serie A games with this referee in charge than Napoli (three).

However, after winning their first three league fixtures with Marchetti, the Azzurri have drawn one and lost one of their last two with him.

Venezia have only played two Serie A fixtures with Matteo Marchetti officiating, winning one (at home against Genoa) and losing one (away to Inter).
