SSC Napoli announces a new corporate social responsibility partnership with NeMo Clinical Centers. The partnership features awareness-raising and social participation initiatives, involving patients, professionals and families from the NeMo Clinical Center in Naples.
The NeMo Clinical Center in Naples treats people with complex diseases such as ALS, SMA, muscular dystrophies, myopathies, neuropathies and other neuromuscular diseases. It adopts a multi-disciplinary model that combines clinical, clinical care and social skills, supporting the patient along their entire care journey.
The agreement also includes activities with Fondazione Serena, which promotes care, research and providing support to people with neuromuscular diseases. The goal of the foundation is to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
The project falls under the club’s commitment to fostering initiatives that draw attention to socially important issues through sport and engage the community with the daily lives of patients and their families.
Paolo Lamberti, General Director of the NeMo Clinical Centers, had this to say: “We would like to thank SSC Napoli for choosing to partner up with us on this initiative. NeMo and the city of Naples have more in common than just geographical proximity. They are part of the same identity and social fabric that can come together thanks to passion for sport and Napoli. This combination of different experiences produces authentic value, as it brings together skills and visions to turn complexity into opportunity and create a tangible impact for the community.”
Tommaso Bianchini, Managing Director – Business Area SSC Napoli, stated: “This partnership enables us to show the Napoli community all the work the NeMo Clinical Centers and the people there do every day: patients, families and professionals. We want to help shine a light on all the great work that is being done by this important local player and support, through the club’s work, a serious, people-centred project.”
