In the heart of a workshop, fire shapes metal and craftspeople mould matter. The result of this work is AURA, the new line of products by SSC Napoli.
It’s a collection centred on the value of manual work and on an identity that cherishes details. It showcases Naples through aesthetics. Every creation is designed for those who hold an authentic bond with the city, something to wear and share in any type of situation.
The line was created in collaboration with Umuna, a company that was established in Naples as an idea of five women united by a family bond and a shared creative vision. Every item in their workshops throughout the Campania region is completely handmade, through a process that combines contemporary research and artisanal care.
The images used to launch the line were created by Antico Borgo Orefici, one of the leading consortia in its field in all of Naples, which safeguards and promotes Naples’ long-standing goldsmithing tradition by supporting companies and artisans in the heart of the city. The core of this project is the La Bulla Goldsmithing School, a vocational hub that fosters talent and promotes new generations of goldsmiths.
AURA is a project with an entirely female perspective: it is about women who design and turn raw materials into symbols to wear on one’s skin. This dialogue between creativity and sense of belonging is shaped through work that is deeply rooted in the local area and that the club showcases across the world. The line is now available in SSC Napoli’s Official Online Store and physical stores.
