To celebrate 2,500 years since the founding of the city of Naples, the club is presenting its fourth kit: the Partenope Jersey.
It is a tribute to the city’s deepest origins, reaching back to the myth from which it all began: Partenope.
A story that starts long ago, but lives on in the present, stitched into the skin of those who carry Naples in their hearts, wherever they may be in the world.
This initiative is part of the “Proud to be Napoli” project, through which the club seeks to honour the roots, beauty and cultural identity of the city.
The origins: from Partenope to Neapolis
With this shirt, the club wishes to mark the 2,500th anniversary of the founding of Neapolis. To do so, it goes even further back in time, to the poetic and foundational myth of Partenope, the legendary figure and original spirit of Naples, the spark from which everything began.
In a world that is changing so rapidly, rediscovering one’s origins is a revolutionary act.
The Partenope Jersey is a tribute to the myth and a timeless symbol, speaking the language of emotion, allowing fans around the world to recognise themselves as Partenopei, part of a story that transcends time and generations.
This is not just a football shirt, but a story woven into fabric. It embodies the bold statement of “We are Napoli”, even far from the Gulf, even thousands of kilometres away from Castel dell’Ovo.
In keeping with this sense of identity, on the back of the collar, in place of the usual “SSC Napoli” inscription, there is a single word: Partenopei.
A powerful and direct identity marker, uniting mythological past and sporting present under one name with one shared sense of belonging.
The shirt is a limited-edition release: with only 2,500 produced, one for each year since the founding of Naples. A powerful and symbolic tribute to the city’s history, designed for our fans, collectors and lovers of Neapolitan identity.
The call of Partenope
The launch is accompanied by an evocative video, placing the women of Naples at its heart.
We follow them through their daily lives – in simple gestures, in the beauty of living – until they hear an ancient call that resonates in their blood and soul. The journey leads to the terrace of Castel dell’Ovo, where the myth becomes real as Partenope appears, wearing the new fourth Napoli kit, a renewed symbol that is passed down and resistant to the passing of time.
Partenope Jersey: technical information
The pattern of the new jersey draws inspiration from Naples’ origins, blending club history, city culture and the soul of its sea in a single design.
The match shirt features a jacquard texture with sublimated printed detail and its colours are a blend of heavenly sky blue and light turquoise. Even the shirt numbers are fully textured, recalling a scaly pattern that echoes the jersey’s design.
The kit, created in collaboration with EA7, is produced in a limited run of 2,500 items, paying tribute to the historical foundation of Naples.

The Partenope Jersey is now available online and from 11 April at official SSC Napoli stores and at all authorised retailers.
