SSC Napoli can confirm that Elia Caprile has joined Cagliari Calcio on a loan deal which includes an option to make the move permanent.
Caprile has played six matches for the senior team this season since his debut in the 0-0 draw away to Juventus on 21 September. Five days later, he made his first appearance at the Stadio Maradona in our 5-0 Coppa Italia victory over Palermo.
Elia kept four clean sheets in his six games – four in Serie A and two in the cup – and saved a penalty in our 3-1 defeat to Lazio in the Coppa Italia last 16.
