Simone Scuffet made his Serie A debut for Udinese against Bologna on 1 February 2014, aged 17 years and 246 days. In the three-points-for-a-win era, Gianluigi Donnarumma is the only goalkeeper to have made his maiden top-flight appearance in Italy at a younger age (16 years and 242 days in AC Milan v Sassuolo on 25 October 2015).
In the last two Serie A seasons (since the start of 2023/24) only Gabriele Zappa (4,134) has played more minutes for Cagliari than Simone Scuffet (3,869).
