Piotr Zielinski was interviewed after Napoli’s 2-0 defeat to Monza, and gave his opinions on proceedings as well as Serie A 2022/23:
“We had our chances but we made mistakes when it came to finishing off moves. We can never stop trying to improve and matches such as today’s serve as lessons.
“As for my thoughts on the season as a whole, we did an amazing job. I’ve never wanted to leave Napoli because I knew that this side were capable of the Scudetto. This season will go down in Naples’ history.
“My best memory of the season was beating Juventus on their own turf. It hit us there that we were within touching distance of glory. We had a great and happy time celebrating with our fans.”
