Piotr Zielinski knows the importance of Tuesday's visit to Union Berlin as Napoli look to strengthen their position in Champions League Group C.
The Azzurri head to the Olympiastadion level with Braga on three points while Real Madrid lead with six and Union are still on zero.
“Tomorrow is an important match for us to get out of our Champions League group and we've come here to get a good result,” the midfielder began at the pre-match news conference.
You have a big match against AC Milan on Sunday which gives you the chance to move back near the top of the Serie A table. Could that be in the back of the players' minds?
“Milan aren't in our thoughts in the slightest because we have a match that could determine the rest of our season in Europe. We're fully focused on Union Berlin.”
In the past you've been described as inconsistent but in the last few seasons you've become a leader of this Napoli side.
“I've never considered myself to be inconsistent but everyone is free to see things as they wish. I'm happy to be a leader. I've been here for nine years and I'm very content at Napoli.
“I give everything for my team and my team-mates and try to perform the best I possibly can whenever I take to the pitch.”
The president has been spending a lot of time with the team lately and is in Germany with you too. What has he said to you?
“It's always nice to have the president around. We've spoken together and it did us good because he brings positive energy to the team.”
