Naples - Cremonese beat Napoli 5-4 on penalties in nasty weather conditions in the Coppa Italia to send Luciano Spalletti's men out of the Coppa Italia. Cremonese took the lead early on through Charles Pickel before Juan Jesus and Giovanni Simeone saw Napoli head into the break 2-1 to the good.

The home side were unable to extend their lead and paid the price for this as Felix Afana-Gyan equalised at the death to take the game to extra time. Simeone nearly won it for Napoli, with his shot hitting both the post and crossbar, but it wasn't to be. The match headed to penalties and Stanislav Lobotka's effort was the only one of ten taken which didn't go in. Napoli go out of the Coppa Italia in the round of 16.
