The footballing world is united in mourning the loss of Sinisa Mihajlovic. First as a footballer, then as a coach, Mihajlovic was a real star of Italian football over the last 30 years.

He made his first appearance in Serie A in 1992. As well as his temperament and charisma, Sinisa is remembered for his extraordinary technique from set-pieces, which sees him still hold the record for the most goals from free-kicks in Italy in the last 30 years.

Mihajlovic’s career never brought him to Napoli, but he has always shown and illustrated his admiration, respect and fondness for the Azzurri and the city of Naples, speaking about it in recent public statements and wishing us success and great achievements.
