Azzurri triumph in final pre-season friendly at the Stadio Patini
Napoli wrapped up their pre-season preparations with a 2-1 over Olympiacos in Castel di Sangro on Thursday.
Matteo Politano opened the scores after a quarter of an hour with a fine solo goal as he cut in from the right before curling a superb left-footed finish inside the far post.
Soon after the interval Lorenzo Lucca made it 2-0 when he finished off a move involving Kevin De Bruyne and Scott McTominay.
Chiquinho scored a consolation goal for the Greek side in added time.
The team will now return to Naples for the final week of training before their Serie A opener away to Sassuolo on Saturday 23 August.
