Scott McTominay joined Antonio Conte for the UEFA media conference on Tuesday ahead of Napoli's Champions League match against Chelsea.

"We have an amazing game at the Maradona tomorrow and the atmosphere is going to be incredible,” the midfielder said. “We want to match the energy our fans will give us.

“Chelsea are a great team that I know well. I scored against them when I was at Manchester United but it was a long time ago and a lot of things have changed.

“Playing a team of this level is a big opportunity for us to show our quality and how ambitious we are to keep going in Europe.

“We need to stay focused not just tomorrow but for the rest of the season. The boss gets us really fired up and we want to perform at our best tomorrow despite all the players we're missing.

“It's a difficult situation and it's not easy to manage but it's part of the game. We're going to need our maximum level of performance.

“We have to look back on the Juventus game and reflect on our mistakes but we know what we're worth and we want to express our full potential tomorrow.”
