Serie A | Mariani to referee Venezia v Napoli

Maurizio Mariani will referee Venezia v Napoli; his assistants will be Preti and Perrotti, and Cosso will be the fourth official. Di Paolo and Dionisi will be on VAR duties.

It will be Maurizio Mariani’s 167th Serie A game and his 15th so far in the 2024/25 season.

Mariani has refereed four Venezia games in Serie A. The first was a draw and the following three matches ended in defeat, this season against Udinese on 1 February.

Meanwhile Mariani has taken charge of 22 Napoli games, and the record stands at 14 wins, two draws and six defeats. One of these was this season – a 1-1 draw against Inter on 10 November.
