SSC Napoli is delighted to announce the signing of Miguel Gutierrez Ortega from Girona Futbol Club on a permanent transfer.
The 24-year-old left-back, born on 27 July 2001, is a Real Madrid academy product. In 2020 he won the UEFA Youth League, scoring a decisive goal in the final against Benfica. He made his senior debut for Los Blancos in an away win against Cadiz in April 2021.
In the summer of 2022, he joined Girona and went on to make 113 appearances for the club, weighing in with six goals and 18 assists.
He won a gold medal with Spain at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, scoring in the match against the Dominican Republic.
